Kennedy Arm Chair

The Kennedy Arm Chair is a classic modern reproduction of the original Model No. 501 Chair designed by Hans Wegner in 1949. 'The Round One' as Wegner referred to it with his usual provincial modesty, is perhaps the most famous Danish piece of furniture of them all. This turned out to be the beginning of Danish design's great international breakthrough. Dubbed "The Chair" in 1960 after CBS featured these chairs in the debates between John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon, it was earlier called one of the most beautiful chairs in 1949 by Interiors magazine. Today, we have brought back this reproduction piece for your enjoyment. Original makers of these chairs retail for about $3000+ today.
