The Mel Barstool is a reproduction of the LEM Piston Stool inspired by Shin and Tomoko Azumi. The LEM Piston Stool was named Product of the Year at the International Interior Design Awards in 2000. The Mel Barstool's sculptural stainless steel frame and leather or wood seats not only swivel, but also adjust easily with a lever that activates a gas cylinder. The Mel Barstool is a commercial-quality stool that comes in a hard leather or wood finish.
